Privacy and Parent Info
How Smart Cat Games works, what stays local, and how we handle child-directed advertising.
What is this site?
Smart Cat Games is a collection of free, browser-based educational games for kids. Games run in the browser with no downloads, no sign-ups, no public profiles, no comments, and no chat.
Information kids give us
We do not ask children for names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, photos, school names, or account passwords. The games are designed so kids can click and play without creating an account.
Some games store high scores, settings, or progress in the browser's localStorage. That information stays on the device and is not sent to Smart Cat Games. Parents can clear it through the browser's site data settings.
Technical information
Like most websites, our hosting server may receive basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, page URL, and request time. These logs are used for security, uptime, and troubleshooting, not for child profiles or personalized ads.
The site uses Google Fonts for display text. We also maintain an ads.txt file for Google AdSense inventory. If ads are shown, Google may process limited technical information needed to serve contextual ads and protect against fraud.
Ads and child-directed treatment
Smart Cat Games is intended for children and families. Ad requests for this site should be treated as child-directed where required. That means no interest-based advertising or remarketing to children, and ads should be contextual rather than based on a child's past activity.
Google explains how it uses data on partner sites here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Third-party links
Some links, including ads or outside resources, may leave Smart Cat Games. We cannot control other websites, so parents should review those sites' privacy practices and help younger children with unfamiliar pages.
Parent rights and contact
Because Smart Cat Games does not operate child accounts or ask children to submit contact information, there is usually no child account data to review or delete. If you have a privacy question, contact us at [email protected].
